Dog Training Services
Working K-9 Company offers 4-week and 6-week board-and-train packages. We help your dog achieve his best self through leadership, calm mindset, structure and accountability. Training takes place in a calm household environment, teaching your dog proper etiquette for living at home as well as in the real world once new skills are learned. We are a boutique dog training service and only train a maximum of 3 dogs at a time to ensure 100% attention, care and tutelage.
4-Week Board & Train
Our 4-week program is as much about behavior as it is about family dog obedience. A major part of our program is about the dog’s state-of-mind. We seek to instill calmness while also establishing a strong obedience foundation.
During our program we work on achieving calmness of mind, handler awareness, compliance of commands, and active listening in the home and in real world situations.
This program is intended for dogs with minor behavioral issues, such as minor barking at dogs, people, vehicles, bicycles, etc.; minor situational anxiety; jumping on people, leash pulling, etc.
The program covers:
Leash etiquette, walking in a proper heel without pulling, barking, lunging, sniffing, marking, etc. (moderate to extreme leash reactivity needs the 6-week program)
Down (with implied stay)
Place command (with implied stay)
Recall training (come)
Car manners (being calm and quiet in the car in a down/stay until released)
Separation anxiety (moderate to extreme cases need the 6-week program)
Crate manners (eliminating barking, whining, scratching, etc.)
Public access manners
Leadership skills, teaching your dog to understand that you are the leader of the pack
Calm mindset in all situations
Working with your dog on his confidence and some anxiety/fear-based issues (moderate to intense anxiety requires the 6-week program)
You will receive nightly reports via text message about the day’s training with videos and photos.
At the end of the program, we’ll give you a 2 hour lesson to go over obedience training, making sure you know how to keep your dog fresh once he goes home. Another 1 hour session is included within 60 days of completing the program. You receive unlimited phone and text support for the first 30 days.
Price: $4,600/ 4 weeks, includes ecollar and prong collar for you to bring home.
6-Week Board & Train
This elongated board and train package is intended for dogs with extreme issues of leash reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety, etc. At a minimum, our goal is to get dogs to be able to exist around other dogs and humans in real world situations. We will give you an assessment once we get working with your dog to let you know what future limitations will be for your dog. The more you commit to training as a lifestyle (24/7, 365), the better your dogs behavior will be in the long run once the program concludes.
The program covers:
